Actually, I’ve noticed that they’ve never once touched each other. EVER. What would happen if…..hmmmmmmm. })

Oh and don’t worry about Vorona. She’s a Russian assassin who is 19 years old. She acts like a child but she’s a cold-blooded killer. Vorona tries to kill Shizuo when she and her partner Slon (I ship Slon x Vorona, but we never know what he looks like because he’s wrapped in bandages) kidnap this little girl named Akane. Vorona is wearing a helmet so Shizuo doesn’t know what she looks like. He gets Akane eventually and then Vorona shows up later without the helmet, and she becomes a second bodyguard for Tom…because of her weapon skills. Shizuo finds her familiar (because of the incident) but he doesn’t think too deep into it. She finds Shizuo interesting because of his strength and she wants to fight him and possibly kill him. So her intentions with him are not romantic. (She’s waiting to attack at the right time and is learning more about him.) His intentions with her are merely like an older brother-father-teacher-figure. (They have a 7 year difference and she calls him sempai). On top of that, I’m pretty sure that in the recent novel, she reveals to everyone who she is and now has Celty’s head? (This alarms Izaya and Celty herself when they hear about a girl’s head being found on the news.) 

I should also mention that in the novel beforehand, Shizuo was put into jail (I believe he was framed again), and he gets out thanks to Vorona (but she wants to fight him, that’s why she really breaks him out). I think that Izaya had -possibly- put Shizuo in jail for the exact idea that Vorona might kill him, and he won’t let anyone else lay a finger on his monster. ^^

Izaya shows up when he’s out, and he gets irritated that Shizuo is IGNORING him and trying to calm Vorona down… ;~; (But this was the novel before the recent one in which Shizuo knows who Vorona is now)

I’m only going by what people have said who have read the newest novel, but that’s the basis of everything, enough to comfort us Shizaya fans down. ^^’ Woooo~

I’m pretty sure Shizaya’s going to happen, at this rate. Seiji’s in a weird relationship…Izaya’s two little sisters break 3 taboos: Incest, Homosexuality, and being twins. (So two men being together isn’t a problem in this story) Plus, Izaya’s the only one who doesn’t fear Shizuo.

Also, keep in mind that Shizuo mentioned Izaya when he lectured Seiji. “You know, I like you a lot more than Izaya, so I’ll let you off with this!” *headbutt*

Now why would he think about Izaya at that time right after mentioning “liking and love” to someone? Hmmmmmmmmm?

OH, and also in that scene with Saika’s army (the zombies) Shizuo repeats a line that Izaya said to that very same girl. “You’re not my type.”  So we all know what’s going on there, eh?

I live in France and we have just the anime here, not even the manga! I wanna know more :< yeah I guess he can't act like a God too long. and I have faith XD seriously, I don't see true love in Shizuo and Izaya but it's like, obvious they can't live without each other, well more like they wouldn't live the same way

I actually haven’t read the novels completely either, but I research them and read certain chapters to find information. I think that the fan translations are as accurate as they can get…I haven’t actually heard of them coming out with official translations. :/

As for the manga, you could read it online on websites such as mangafox or mangareader. ^^

I consider them soul mates. ^^ Even if it’s never a romantic relationship between them, you’re right: They can’t live without each other. If one of there were really to kill the other, they’d have nothing…In fact, they might realize that they never had wanted them dead in the first place. ;~;

But considering that DRRR!! has a lot of odd couples already, I see something -possibly- happening. ^^ Theyy may end up on good terms or implied as something more~
